Optional Half Day Bethlehem Tour Plan

This half-day tour visits some of the most prominent Christian sites in the world.

After being picked up at your hotel (or any other address you will provide) you will be taken to the crossing between Jerusalem and Bethlehem. This is where our local licensed tour will wait for you and where your tour will begin.

Your first stop is right at the city center - Manager Square and the Church of Nativity. Being one of the oldest churches in the world, this unique church, which marks the birthplace of Jesus Christ, has a fascinating history of its own. 

Your next stop will be the local Arab market which is a typical local market, full of exotic smells and colors. From there we will head to the Milk Grotto and its Franciscan chapel where the holly family is believed to have sought refuge prior to their flight to Egypt. Our last stop will be Shepherd's field.
Please note - you can add an optional visit to the magnificent ruins of Herodion  - the Palace and Fortress built by King Herod and which is believed to be also its tomb.  
At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to Jerusalem.
